Lego Gunsmiths Contest:
Ok, so these are the rules that I’ve come up with for the contest-
Those who wish to participate MUST let me and the judges know they wish to enter before hand; there will be no late entries.
The judges so far are –
a. Marder II
b. Kenneth Kenneth
c. Master Cheez
If you want to judge, let me know.
Judges are allowed to enter, all they’re doing is counting the reviews.
all entries must be in by a given time, (yet to be decided).
The contest will consist of two categories-
a. actual guns
b. fantasy guns
The contestants will specify the category they are entering when they sign up, and also on their entry page.
As is the standard scoring method, contestants get a point for each review, the ones with the most points win.
You are not allowed to leave reviews on you page, only reviews made by logged-on persons are counted.
The two winners, (one from each category), will then compete against each other for first place.
However, in order to make thing more challenging, they must each make a gun from the alternate category in which they won. (fantasy winner makes actual gun, actual gun winner makes fantasy gun.)
However long later, the reviews will be counted, and the winner will be named.
note-Siem Pietersma suggested we put the winner of this contest, and winners to come in some kind of hall of fame, any idea how we might do that?

Maybe we shoul make a new topic called: Hall of fame. Everyone who has won a contest, cames there. We put the name of the winner in the review on it, and a link to his gun. We also put in the name wich contest he has won.

I was thinking, just make a topic where every winner can write down how they managed to win and how they feel about it like ''firs i went to the internet for an idea''or''oh, I`m SO happy right now!!!''
And stuff like that.

And i want to join to, When does the gun need to by finished???

I'll make the hall of fame on the homepage so it doesn't get lost in the chat archives. How does that sound?

Hey Cheez, can you have a few catergories? Here are the catergories I had in mind: Submachine guns, selfloading rifles, rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, handguns, and possibly more. I think the whole fantasy and real gun thing is too general. I am a better judge with specific catergories. Please take this into consideration before you make the contest. Thanks.
