I think to increase activity in "The Squires" we need a contest so here it is. Build the best Castle Vignette and win...bragging rights. ;D There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. And yes, I will be judging. Rule time:
1. Deadline is March 1, 12:00 Eastern Standard Time. All entries entered afterword won't be counted.
2. This is a VIGNETTE contest, I won't set an exact size limit, but keep it vignette size.
3. Make sure it's medieval/medieval fantasy themed.
4. You are limited to two entries.
Ok, you can start submitting entries as of Feb. 5. Have fun!

Oh boy!! I'm looking forward to competing in this. I've been making some castle vignettes but haven't had a chance to put them online. By the way, what is standard vignette size? I think it's 8x8 but I'm not sure.

Hey guys
i got a vignette idea in mind but i need to know if i could stretch out the base size a bit maybe i dunno?.....8 times 24? and it dosn't matter if its multi stories dose it?

I check this blog daily. There are some good examples of vignettes. A Vignette can be 9x6, 8x8, 12x12 and MAYBE 16x16, but thats rare.

P.S How do you calculate Eastern Standard Time if you don't live in the east? I know that that sounds stupid, but please help!
