"Teleport! Now!"

[A'zaiah] the Bhakari stepped toward her and and the pilot, grabbing their shoulder roughly before the three vanished in a vortex of white energy, gone before the gladiators could react. They emerged on the snowy ground with a dull thud a few meters from the native's transport ship. The Bhakari breathed heavily, drained slightly by the distance from the ship to the ground and his additional passengers.

The wreckage of the hypersonic shuttle was only a few hundred metres away from where the fight was going on. A team of five mechanics were methodically going through it and repairing everything, one of the few surviving arc-lamps casting an unnatural pallor.

Ghaile raced up to one of the mechanics, who was cleaning the oil off his hands with a dirty rag.

"Is the radio working yet?"

"Should be, miss. Just fixed it."

Ghaile span round to face A'zaiah again.

"You go and see if you can save the rest of the bhakari on the Being ship. I'll try and contact Our Order."

((Merinalas ordered her troops on the ground to maim all the matoran (not kill) to punish them for not saying about the bhakari(I used my super mod powerz).

Kor accidentally caused the grav-lift to blow up, alerting Ghaile to the treachery, who set the gravity cube in the mapdisc to explode and then got A'zaiah to teleport them out.

((Ah, thank you.))

"Head down there and punish the liars. Incapacitate, not kill" was Merinilas' orders to all personnel on the Aurora. Meanwhile, she headed to her personal armory and took out an experimental rifle of a modular nature. She walked past a sign reading "grav-lift 7 -->".

D'mrali, using his cloaking device, sneaked past several ARSEC(Armed Security) soldiers, carefully avoiding doors, generators, Gauss weaponry and other things that generate magnetic fields(the doors slide open and closed using magnets). His plan: do some screwings-around with the engines of the ship, causing it to explode.

((Good point, darlin'))

The Order contact Ghaile had spoken with on the radio had been quite frank: there was no chance in Hades that a transport would be available anywhen in the next hour.

The impact had made a total hash of Spherus's weather systems - hurricanes and all - had triggered a few dozen bioquakes, kicked up goodness knows how much dust and, to top it all, radioactive post-strike debris was starting to fall out of orbit.

The Order knew they were lucky: if the impact had been anything else but a spaceship, they would all be dead. Eternal winter was already setting in, but not as fast. Had something to with rock being more explosive.

Even worse, the Kaita Valmai had escaped.
Ghaile shuddered involuntarily. The thing gave her the creeps.

Anyway, the situation was clear: they were stuck with what they had. Ghaile had powered up the anti-grav Enias had hidden in the mapdisc; it as up to him to activate it.

Returning to the present: the explosion had carved a good chunk out of the icescape. Two figures lay smouldering a way from the blast region((Na'vesh and Enias)), and a great deal of Beings were clutching their eyes, evidently blinded.

There lay another body, closer to Ghaile, it's blood dyng the snow around it. As she drew closer, it became evident that it was the bhakari's escaped prisoner.

Ghaile contemplated waking him. It was a risk; but the Gladiators were far more numerous than themselves. Perhaps she could take his mind.

A web of electricity spread across the Being's body, cauterising his wounds, and, with an unnatural groaning noise, he began to wake.

At this time, D'mrali was crawling through the ventilation pipes- this was no simple task, due to the fact that he can't really bend forward well-right above where Merinalas was heading. He noticed his hand flicker in and out of vision. Merinilas' gun was analog ((just like our own firearms)), so D'mrali presumed that something in the woman's armor was interfering with his active camouflage.

((sorry I was slightly confused as to which character was shocking me. there are a lot of chars to deal with.))

The shock surged and jolted Kor to his very....core. "Aaaaahh!"

Kor teleported only to reappear standing a few inches away from where he was lying a few seconds before. Then he teleported again right next to Ghaile ((I think I spelled that right.)) "what was that for?"

After a few more random ports in the same area he finally realized what was happening and then Kor saw the carnage. "What happened?"

((So sorry, school's been busy. I'll try to be more active.))

[Kyrinz]

With hurried steps, Kyrinz strode through the bowels of the Aurora, heading for his hidey-hole of a control station. He was very nervous, but being in a battle does that to most people.

He picked up his pace. He hated to think about what would happen if one of those bhakari got on his beloved ship. Untold destruction and chaos, and an unholy amount of cleanup for him. He shuddered to think about it.

On his way, he passed the armory. Gladiators were pouring in and out of the doorway, grabbing weaponry of all kinds. Though he had no intention of fighting, or even of leaving the ship, he had a strange sense of foreboding. It was strong enough that, without even thinking, he changed direction and walked quickly inside.

Once inside, he grabbed a suit of light armor, a kinetic repeating rifle, a short burst plasma pistol, and a long dagger made of a mysterious black and red metal. Feeling a little safer, he walked on.

He was so engrossed in his thoughts, he couldn't hear the slight tapping noise in the vent above him.

((I'm starting to think that it would make sense if Kyrinz was a half Gladiator, half Arkitect. What say you people?))

Merinilas walked past Kyrinz. "Why so many weapons?" she asks.

They then engage in a casual conversation. D'mrali saw his chance, and took it, crawling slowly -ever so slowly- through the pipes directly above his two main enemies. He resisted the intense urge to strangle the cruel, violent commander.

((I'm fine with that; he could even be a Architect-turned-Gladiator, which would be fine.

Ghaile didn't reply, for at that moment she was concentrating all her effort on peering through one of the gaps in the Beings' quickly restructuring mental defenses.

What she caught a glimpse of before the last crack snapped shut almost made her gasp.

"You're...one of us? The matoran who jumped((in front of Capries))? How?"
---
Enias awoke to the smell of burnt flesh.

Antidermis was drifting throught cracks in his armour in thin green wisps; his very essence.

He picked himself up carefully: the slightest jar could leave his very being dissipating slowly across the noth pole.

Enias slowly made his way over the blast marks to Na'vesh, although he was barely recognisable. He was badly burnt, an one of his limbs was twisted at grotesque angles ((?)).

[Kyrinz]

"No particular clue, Commander. I just have a bad feeling. I was just on my way to my quarters to make sure no damage is done during the firefight outside. A lot of this stuff is very sensitive."

[Na'vesh]

Ow.

That hurt.

A lot.

Na'vesh stirred slightly, and was greeted by a sudden onrush of new pain. He let out a groan, and that hurt even more.

He could feel the nanites within his body whirring around, already beginning to heal his gruesome wounds. Those things were lifesavers, literally, and he knew that any being would give an arm and a leg for one.

What they didn't mention was how much the nanites ITCHED while doing their healing.

----

Slowly, he felt the pain receding, and his strength returning. He opened his eyes very slowly, and it was not pretty. The ground was black and charred, and he could see some not easily identifiable bodies on the ground near him. He could see the native, Enias, standing near him. He opened his mouth to speak, but his body decided that that would be an appropriate time to black out. Na'vesh readily complied.

(("Archie"? ... I like it. XD))

Na'vesh's eyes opened a fraction, before snapping shut again.

Hmm.

A moment's examination told Enias that the bhakari's skin was rippling frantically. Nanites!

This rather unimpressive breakthrough was interrupted by the skrall leader materializing abruptly at his shoulder. By the Red Star, ten thousand years of aquaintance STILL he hadn't got used to her sneaky ways.

"Ah. I see you found him."

Enias subtly gave Ghaile the "I-know-it's-suspicicious-but-I-think-we-should-trust-Kor-for-now" look.

"Did you manage to contact the Order?"

"Yes, the useless rabble of rock steeds that they are. Too busy with radiation poisoning to bother with a small thing like an ALIEN INVASION."

"Nothing, then?"

"Not even a bone hunter."

Ouch, thought Enias, she is in a really bad mood, and decided to change the subject.

"You electricified the mapdisc, yes?"

Ghaile gave the makuta a spiky look, so Enias pressed no further. He turned to Kor, and pointed at Na'vesh.

"See if you can help him; he's suffering, as far as I can see, from energized protodermis overexposure. THEN, you can explain exactly what happened((In case you didn't know, Kor's energy pulse from Ch.3 is what explodied the gravity lift.))."

The makuta then stepped away, focusing on forming a link between the AG cube in the disc.

There!((Cue dramatic music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASj81daun5Q))

A strong wind from above swept away the stagnant stench of charred flesh; crystals of snow began to spiral keenly upwards.

The sharp sound of tearing metal cuts through the slow whispering. Sparks fly, golden metal blurring.

The great form of the Being ship creaked as an ever-growing hole opens in the belly of the front part of the craft. A spherical storm of gold shredded the ship, the cube at its' centre.

The entire episode happened a little nearer to Enias than he had been expecting, and a little more explosive too.

"Run!"((Shouted Enias))

[Kyrinz]

Kyrinz was feeling awfully uncomfortable.

Then again, being in an explosion generally isn't very.

It had happened in just an instant. One minute he had been talking with Merinalas on his way to his control room, and the next minute, a small sensor in his armor had started beeping wildly.

Before he or Merinalas could react, his magnetic armor had gone on lockdown, freezing all of his movement. The next moment, a massive concussive blast of wind punched through the hallway, sending Kyrinz flying. He flew so fast, he blasted straight through the steel door at the end of the corridor. And he kept flying.

He lost consciousness somewhere after the fifth wall.

Eventually, after smashing through numerous other obstructions, he came out somewhere in the front of the ship and flew out onto the ice nearby, skittering across it like a stone.

After laying there for a short amount of time, Kyrinz started to regain consciousness. His armor was still locked tight, though, so all he could do was wait.

D'mrali knew he was more than likely doomed to a hellish, painful and confusing death. Nevertheless, he dropped through the loose grate(it too, fell on Merinilas' head) And made a mad dash for the Grav-Lift. What occured next was utter pandemonium- a Bhakari who's face he couldn't make out jumping short distances; Merinalas, Kyrinz and several ARSEC shooting at him; chunks of metal and plastic flying every which way; him feeling sick from the Bends((The ship decompressed due to the massive whole, causing the an affect similar to being in a spaceship then going deep-sea diving)); a whole lot of yelling, and several other confusions. He was tiring out. Fast.

"Got anything small and made of metal? A knife would be great."

A cacophany of shadow hurled Enias into Kor's presence.

"Metal, you say?" inquired the makuta. He calmly ripped a piece that was hanging off his armour, and handed it to Kor.

"Give it back to me later. I need something to patch up this -"

Enias gestured to a crack which was leaking a green vapour.

"Antidermis." he commented at the Being's confused face. "Me."
---
Ghaile tore herself away from the scene, racing up to the wreck of the hypersonic shuttle. A group of engineers were clambering over it.

"Sit-rep!" She snarled for effect.

"We're just doing the first test now, miss."

A steady drone started to emananate from the shuttle's engines. It started to rise, heavy end first.

There were a few hopeful seconds of glorious hypersonic-shuttle-working-perfectly when there was a high-pitched shriek, a flutter of sparks from the business end heralding the craft's lurch earthward.

There was an awkward after-silence.

"We'll keep trying, miss."

"You. Had. Better. For all our sakes..."
---
Enias returned to the issue at hand.

In the twenty seconds it had been active, the antigravity engine had made quite a satifying hash of the Being ship. A huge ragged hole had been torn open in it's belly, it was creaking dangerously, and the port side was limping slightly. It was, however, still airborn, at about one hundred metres.

There was no chance Enias could use the same AG cube twice in that same way. It had probably incinerated itself.

He attention was drawn to a path cut through the ice a way from him, ending in an sprawled, armour-clad figure((Kyrinz)). Obviously he had been catapulted out of the ship.

Intrigued, Enias went to investigate.

Kor took the metal from the Makuta. He began to channel the immense amout of energized protodermis through himself and into the metal fragment. To Kors surprise there was much more than he originally thought. He needed to do something with it he needed to 'create' there was that word again. He thought about it and the metal fragment started glowing The alien seemed to be improving as well. He thought harder and it expanded into a plain long shaft until all the energized protodermis was out of the alien's system. "Well. I don't thing I can return you your armor.... What was your name again? I don't think I know any of your names actually."

This fact bothered Kor that with all his knowledge he didn't know who any of these people were. Right then He felt something change He looked over to the staff he was holding. It now sported a small blade. "my,"

[Kyrinz]

...

... ...

... ... ...Ouch...

Kyrinz let out a low groan. His magnetic armor had protected him from major injury during his ejection from the Aurora, but minor injuries can be just as painful. He felt like one giant bruise.

Though he still couldn't move much, he could feel the magnetism holding his armor slowly fading. He would be able to move soon, at least.

-----

After a short period of time, he felt that his magnetic armor had faded enough to move. He tried shifting his position. Though it hurt like heck, he found that, with an effort of will, he was able to arrange his limbs into a more comfortable position. Particularly one that didn't involve having his face ground into the snow. With a short, painful heave, he flipped himself over. He had a little better view of the scenery, and it wasn't pretty.

A massive sphere had been carved into the side of the Aurora, right in the middle. Everything around it was blackened and charred. He himself, he noticed, was covered in a liberal amount of soot. He was too far away from everything to see much else

Just then, he heard a noise. Faint footsteps, steadily getting louder. He had high doubts that their owner would be friendly.

Kyrinz let out a sigh. Today was just not his day.

[Na'vesh]

Blearily, Na'vesh opened his eyes. The sudden absence of pain told him that his wounds were healed. Still, he was fairly exhausted. It had been a long day.

His eyesight was very blurry, for a while as he tried to make out his surroundings. He could see various beings around him, talking in hushed voices, but he couldn't tell who they were.

He blinked a few times, and he could suddenly see clearly. And the first thing he saw was that strange Great Being, crouched over him, wielding a long, bladed staff.

Na'vesh's instincts took over.

His large, clawed hand shot out and grabbed the hybrid by the neck, and he flung him away from himself with all of his strength.

Enias noticed there was an awful lot of soot. Hmm. Perhaps the hull of the ship reacted adversly to being pulled apart so suddenly. So that would suggest it was made of carbon...

He pressed on, storing that observation for consideration later.

The Being he was approaching flopped onto his front. His eyes were open, considering the scene around him.

Enias sat down near to the Being, crossing his legs. He saw there was little point in confrontation; he had neither the patience nor energy for it.

"I am sorry if I made a mess of your ship. I am Enias, makuta and member of the Order of Spherus Magna((Let's say they changed the name))."

He voice took on a harsher tone.

"What would your kind have with this planet?"

"Did no one seriously think of bringing Mask of reneration on this trip?"

Ghaile turned aside, her face dark.

"I am not in the mood for your pearls of wisdom, Ronin. This trip was ill-advised, setting out so soon after the crash and with so little intel."

She gestured to the mechanics working on the ship behind her.

"This happening was not planned. The things are supposed to be indestructible, says Artakha, and look - a little teleport displacement goes and fries it. B***dy hell, they're even WATERPROOF-"

The conversation was cut short by Kor being thrown at Ghaile.

Whose body went crashing into Ronin.

((You changed my words, and misspelled them xD))

[Ronin] The titan of a skrall stumbled back a few steps as he tried to keep his balance when she crashed into him, utterly failing and falling flat on his back. He cursed silently in annoyance as he quickly righted himself and got to his feet, offering Ghaile a hand up, looking to see who threw who at them, shaking his head "I'm simply asking why it wasn't. Ma'am. Don't get snippy with me."

Kor was legitimately offended. he righted himself and looked over at the alien who had just thrown him with nothing but disbelief and scorn. His staff sprouted more blades. He pointed it at the Bhakarai and the alien began to hover off the ground. "I could dismantle you where you stand and build a better being in you place. However I have more important things to do."

He dropped Na'vesh and went to look at the ship. "The ship can be easily remedied. Could you all stand back?" Kor said. When the area was clear Kor pointed his staff at the ship and his eyes glowed gold. The ship began to rise slowly, pieces and metal bits lost in the snow from the crash with it floated up with it. When the entirety of the ship was in the air it shattered into it's millions of components and spread out into an intricate maze of unbuilt ship. Kor walked between the parts examining them in a trance, rearranging them and even levitating up bit's of earth and snow and turning them to metal to replace broken parts or to create new ones. when he finished he walked out of the cloud of parts and tapped his staff on the ground. The ship spend back together rearranging itself as fast as it was disassembled. It finished to reveal the same ship but with a few slight modifications. "I believe The ship is in order. I took the liberty of modifying it to accommodate our rather large party as well as resist temporal shocks."

-System Restart-

This brief message showed up on Merinalas' Visor, along with many others:
HUD Online
Objective/Waypoint Indicator online
Syncronizing Nervous System and Armor Motors

Good. The reboot seems to be going fine.

Connecting to Local Networks
Activating Long-Range Comm Systems

There. She can communicate with other survivors. Perhaps Kyrinz survived as well.

Local Terrain Minimap Active
Armor Movement Capabilities Primed

That was all she needed. She still could not see. She could move her fingers around. She leaned forward. The thin layer of ice blocking her vision fell of immediately. She got up. All she could see was a bunch of ice coverin' the terrain. A indication popped up on her helmet.
Minor Damage to L. Mid. Finger
She could do with a sprained digit. She just had to recover her weapons.

"Well, that's that." D'mrali said, having recovered. He turned to Az'iah. "There will more than likely be reinforcements. We should find the others."((Your turn, Gideon.))

[Na'vesh]

Na'vesh let out a low, menacing growl. He did not appreciate threats, especially when they were coupled with massive amounts of arrogance. That hybrid may be powerful, but he needed to be taught a lesson in humility.

Sighting a rather long and pointy shard of metal nearby, he used his telekinetic powers to send it flying at Kor's face, only to have it stop, hovering an inch from his left eye. Kor flinched.

"No matter how much power you have, you would still be dead where you stand," Na'vesh rumbled. "If I had not stayed my hand, no amount of power in the universe could have saved you. Show some respect."

He turned his head to Ghaile and Ronin and said, "My apologies to you both. My instincts took over. I hope you are both unharmed."

He turned back to Kor, and growled, "By the way, nice ship."

[Kyrinz]

Kyrinz sat staring up at the golden mask of Enias. Or at least laid down. Thoughts and questions were buzzing through his head, but he couldn't put them into words.

His mouth hadn't quite unfrozen yet.

So, he thought. An Order of Spherus Magna. The Mata Nui robot had done its job, then. The Magnian species and the various species within the robot must have begun to mingle, at least enough to create a sort of government. Very interesting.

After a long, awkward wait, he felt his lips unfreeze.

"So, you're a Makuta, eh? You don't look like one of the Makuta I remember. You look... less organic. More mechanical"

He smiled.

"Why are we here? I have no clue. I'm just the lowly head engineer. As far as I know, we were here to find one of our fleet captains, Capries. But my commanding officer, Merinalas, is a tricky one. She has hundreds of agendas. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a few for this planet."

“In the meantime, what are your plans for me?”

Merinalas waded over to the frozen shoreline. She opened a hatch on her arm-plate, beneath which lied a keypad and screen. The TacDevice(Tactical Device, obviously) was a useful tool for communications, radar, and playing music. Hers was modified, having been combined with a 160GB microproccesor, a stolen Bhakari LTSR("Lieutenant Sir"), or Local Terrain Scanning Radar, and a defensive energy shield. She typed in Kyrinz' TacDevice comm number.

"I'm simply asking why it wasn't. Ma'am. Don't get snippy with me."

((I'll say this now: Kor seems to be getting a little overpowered now, Hank. The rest of the Being cast can't do half of what Kor can do.

Just to make it fair, let us say... Kor's powers to de/reconstruct are limited to non-organic, non-living materials; all Being have such powers, but Kor to more of an extent on account of him Being a hybrid. Yar?))

"Get everyone on the ship. We'll be leaving soon.”

Ghaile gave Ronin a look that left him in no doubt what would happen if he didn't, for once, comply((Get used to it she's a grumpy military official)). Obviously the impressive display of Kor fixing the ship had not improved her mood; she was totally disaffected.

She turned to Na'vesh, who was still recovering both his body and his pride.

"See if you can find the rest of your people. The ones called D'mrali and A'zaiah - was it? - are missing."

“In the meantime, what are your plans for me?”

The makuta turned to the Gladiator.

"To save you."

The Being looked, understandably, more than a little surprised.

"As far as I can see, there is of little use a dead Be-"

He was interrupted by the furious whirling and rewhirling on the hypersonic shuttle.

He quickly clicked his fingers, vanishing in a coil of shadow.
---
Ghaile was in deep conversation with Haro when Enias arrived.

"It seems all is in order, although it looks like the radio had been totally reset-"

The toa of light was interrupted by Enias's typically dramatic entrance.

"Ah. So our hybridised friend has helped us somewhat."

There was a distant, slightly muffled boom; the ground shook slightly.

The skrall leader whirled round.

"What was that?"

There was another boom; nearer. Obviously an explosion.

Enias' eyes widened.

"They wouldn't."

The makuta practically roared.

"Everyone on board! Now!"

Ghaile turned on the irate makuta.

"What's happening?"

"The worst thing possible: our own Order is bombarding us."

((Gideon, I'm waiting on you.))

Merinalas continued waiting for a respnse from Kyrinz. While she waited, she typed in orders to the Aurora's AI from her TacDevice. Sure enough, a capsule launches from the torn ship. Upon opening, the container revealed a durable carbine rifle system featuring a 1.5x zoom scope, extended magazine, and a foregrip, along with a handgun, a pair of landmines, a combat knife, and some canned meat.

[A'zaiah] He shook his head tiredly and began scanning the snow plains, searching for the shuttle for a few minutes before spotting it in the distance as the bombardment began. He grabbed D'mrali once again rather roughly and teleported onto the shuttle (Because he's been in it before, he can teleport in directly.)
[Ronin] The skrall complied, motioning everyone on board hurriedly from the top of the loading ramp as the bombardment began

Ghaile nodded. Everyone was working efficiently. A quick dialogue with the nearest bhakari assured her that all member of it's race was on board, or, at least, they would be in the next thirty seconds.

A loud bang of air diplacement; the typical herald of a teleport.

Seconds later, a bhakari informed her that everyone was on board.

Her own officials told her quickly thereafter that all Order members were on board, including the hybrid.

Ghaile was the last person to climb the ramp, it whirring shut behing her, leaving her in the slightly less cramped space of the passenger hold.

And, so, with a euphemistic whine, the shuttle began to take off.

Kor turned to Ghaile. "I've repaired your ship, conisder this payment for destroying it and repaying any debt I have to the order. Now I'll be going, before the bombs ruin everything."

With that Kor teleported away. He reappeared next to Merinilas. "I think we best be going. they've ordered a barrage of this area."

D'mrali, having been teleported suddenly, hurried into the shuttle. He asked Ghaile, "What's going on? Is this your organization?"

[Kyrinz]

Kyrinz watched, bemused, as explosions rocked the landscape. He couldn't tell where they were coming from, but he was sure they weren't friendly.

Suddenly, one projectile landed only 50 yards away, knocking him off his feet and sending razor sharp shards of ice flying through the air.

*Yeah*, Kyrinz thought. *Definitely not friendly.*

With a gentle push of his magnetic powers, he completely unlocked his armor and started sprinting away.

-----

He was interrupted by a steady beeping from his wrist. He stopped, and folded back the armor. Instantly, a hologram of Merinalas popped up, and she seemed awfully annoyed.

"Where are you?", she snapped. "I've been trying to get a hold of you for ages."

Kyrinz started running again. As he ran, he replied to Merinalas.

"Right now, I'm dodging missiles on a gigantic ice rink. I'm a little busy right now, so if you could make this quick..."

Quoting Kor

Kor turned to Ghaile. "I've repaired your ship, consider this payment for destroying it and repaying any debt I have to the order. Now I'll be going, before the bombs ruin everything."

It was fortunate the shuttle had not fully sealed itself for hypersonic flight. Otherwise the slight vacuum made by a outgoing teleport would have done some serious damage to anyone in the pressurised environment of the ship.

Ghaile silently berated herself for not putting a trace on the hybrid. Annona knew where he was now, although it seemed likely that he would rejoin his Being cohorts.

Quoting Killer Quadrapeds The Power Armor Smith

D'mrali, having been teleported suddenly, hurried into the shuttle passenger hold. He asked Ghaile, "What's going on? Is this your organization?"

"We are being bombarded."

Ghaile cleared what could have been a piece of her last disobedient officer from her throat.

"Admittedly, they don't really sound like explosions. More like very large rocks fired at us from a distance."

At that point Enias joined the conversation, having finished terrorizing the pilot over their next destination, and somehow managing to join in seamlessly with the conversation.

"I did hear the Order was developing some kind of railgun to fire autonomous exo-toa at a target site..."

Ghaile turned towards the makuta in a what she thought was a indimidating manner.

"You knew this... and NEVER TOLD ME! I SPENT FIVE MINUTES GETTING TOLD THAT NO HELP-"

The rest of the skrall's rant was cut off by Enias smothering the air with the power of his silence kraata. He grabbed a hypodermic of mild sedative from the nearest medi-kit and proceeded to plunge it into Ghaile's arm.

Thereafter, she calmed down enough to talk. Properly.

"So. The Order has been firing back-up at us for the last seven minutes and we just ran away from it."

"It would seem so."

Grump was spread all over Ghaile's face.

"You did this on purpose, didn't you? Not telling me, just so we could get away!"

She contempated kicking a floorplate, but thought the better of it.

"Where are we going now then?"

"That mysterious "Baterra Fall" point((alluded to by the map disc)): the Valley of the Maze."

Behind them, they shuttle's engines changed pitch as the pilot prepared for hypersonic flight.

((Once again, gathered friends... we have reached the end of the chapter!

So, a quick summation of what has happened and what will happen ((Which you must read so I don't have to explain it again)):

1) The chapter starts with the failure of the RC team and the Beings to a diplomatic conclusion.

2) Enias seriously damages the Aurora with the destructive power of a gravity cube hidden inside Capries' map disc, catapulting various crew members across the crater.((The crater made by the bhakari ship crash-landing))

3) Merinalas is thrown over the crater lip to the very shore of the Ice Wastes, to where it meets the Great Ocean. Kyrinz briefly meets Enias, but their exchange is interrupted by a bombardment.

4) Kor successfully repairs the hypersonci shuttle, before leaving to rejoin Merinalas and her cohorts.

The next chapter (Which I'll make NOW) will see the Beings deal with the arrival of the exo-toa,

Their repairing of the ship

And their pursuit of the Recon team to the Valley of the Maze...))
