Alright everyone. Here's the second story; Bota Magna. No catchy title (yet) but let's just get to the story, shall we?

[Please note the Rules/Tips topic (http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=14026&topicid=58521). It just makes it easier for EVERYONE. Seriously.]

[Airimos]

The night was warm, but only just. The Southern Continent was known for it's relatively hot days and cold nights, but this was one of the uncommonly pleasant nights that comes every so often, and makes everyone in a light hearted mood.

Airimos, however, was too busy to contemplate on the weather, and only took a moments notice to it to smile at how he could work through the night on "The Tommorow" without discomfort.

The hull was coming along nicely. Although it still seemed as just the shed skin from that of a gigantic beast, one day, very soon, it would be a majestic ship.

Airimos placed his hand on his creation before retiring for the night.
"Tommorow, my Tommorow..."

((I'm assuming that he helped build the ship. Correct me if I'm wrong.))

Mandragora made the last few connections for the navigatory controls, his mechanical arm clicking and whirring as the different tools slotted back into place. He yawned, and looked up at the huge outline of the ship. He smiled and then grimaced at how sentimental he had become recently, and began checks on the Engine Sheiding, failing to notice the figure that had crept past him...

(( "Vulcanus", your cue please.))

((Yup. And that '----' at the end is to signify a jump to the furture, when the ship is done. It looks a lot like the Cornera from Star Fox, but less fat, and is really REALLY big. Like over a mile long.

There's a lot of stuff that can happen on the ship, before we even get to Bota, esp. thanks to Dr. Egghead and Volcanus. :D ))

It had been a slow day, day had started to change into night. I had been bored, and started talking with Kristo. We were high above the city, on a current of air. It gave us a large amount of privacy, save the air rahi. The ship to the unknown was large, even from up here. It was peaceful, until a fire started...

[Airimos]

25 years of hard work, tired hours, long days and fruitful hardship. Airimos, or rather, Captain Airimos was ever so proud of his life's achievement: The Tommorow.

The largest ship in the whole of the Matoran Universe; it was his pride and joy. Nothing filled him with more happiness than to step onto the bridge and imagine the mighty Tommorow in flight. Unfortuantely, the ship was still under minor construction, so he would have to make sure to not be in the way of those working on his pride and joy.

And Airimos was doing just that; standing at the bridge imagining the wonders of what he would see as he jouneyed through the Multiverse.

And then he smelled smoke...

"Mandragora! Quick! I smell smoke! Go and get...oh...what's her name...That Toa of Water! You know the one! Quickly!"

I had been following the two dolts for 2 days now I stood at a distance as they huddled in some sort of watch. One thought they had lost me the other knew I was coming I went with the latter there was a flash, a swing, and a scream and it was over I simply headed back. when I got back one of my serfs ran up to me exclaiming "our vision has a message for yopu he said 'a great metal storm approaches.' he then wen into a state of madness only saying 'leak'." " well this should be interesting."

"Kristo, lets go!"
I said, plummeting to the ground, making air, my leg boosters, and my levitation disk slow down my fall. Kristo arrived a bit after, using the water vapor slow her fall. I got rid of all the air in the area to stop it from spreading.

[Kristo] While Narios made air go away, I then used my powers over water to create a rainstorm. After an hour or so of us working together, the fire died down.

[Narios] "Well, you're welcome.."

[Airimos]

"Oh, thank you...I'm sorry, what's your name again?"

The Toa was a bit irritated by Airimos, but reminded her employer of her name.

"My name is Kristo."

"Ah, that's right! I knew it started with a 'K.' Or a 'C,' but I digress. You really have no idea how thankful I am, despite my memory for names." He chuckled a bit.

He turned a bit towards the now gently steaming area of the cargo bay that had been engulfed in a small blaze.

"An electrical error, I presume. I'll have Mandragora check it out after he's done with the Engine Shields."

He turned back to Kristo with a spark in his eyes and a grin on his face.

"30 years I've had this dream, and every minute of it has been extrodinare. To think of it! It's almost done!"

Kristo looked up and around the cargo bay.

"It certainly is...incredible."

"I couldn't agree more! And to think of what we'll see..." He trailed off in fantasy, only be interupted by a tall, imposing figure behind him, examining the burn marks.

"Captain! You may want to look at this..."

--Mandragora--

Finishing the checks on the Engine Shields, Mandragora strode back to where he came from.

Right into the still-cooling piece of metal flooring.

It hadn't cooled much.

"Ahhhh!" he exclaimed, hopping on his not-burnt foot. Activating his heat-resistance kraata power, he navigated over the steaming patch and then strode over to Airimos

"What happened there? It's hot enough to fry a Matoran."
Airimos raised an eyebrow.
"My apologies. Habits die hard."
"A fire started. An electrical fault, perhaps?" He stared hard at Mandragora.
"It wasn't my fault. My electrics are the best."
Airimos rolled hi eyes at the typical display of makuta-esque pride.
"So...?"

Mandragora mused for a moment, and then held up a finger.
"Ah." He cast his telepathic net wide, searching the area.
"A rogue toa of fire, perhaps." he said after a few seconds of concentration.

"Oh, I wouldn't think that would happen. There are to many of Ta-Toa here to pin the accident on any one of them. A freak accident seems more likely."
"Hmmm. Nothing's impossible. But, I'd still better check though." He strode off again and called over his shoulder.
"Enough procrastinating. You sort out the crew."

"What happened there? It's hot enough to fry a Matoran."
Airimos raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry. Habits die hard."
"A fire started. An electrical fault, perhaps?" He stared hard at Mandragora.
"Hmm. Oh, do you think...? No, no. An electrical fault wouldn't produce a fire of that magnitude."
"So...?"
Mandragora mused for a moment, and then held up a finger.
"Ah." He switched on his infra-red vision, scanning the area.
"I...spy...with my semi-compound, heat-sensitive eye...a Toa of Fire."
"Oh, I wouldn't think that would happen. There are to many of Ta-Toa here to pin the accident on any one of them. A freak accident."
"Suppose. Nothing's impossible. But, I'd still better check though." He strode off again and called over his shoulder.
"Right. Enough procrastinating. You sort out the crew, then."

Something flickered in Mandragora's mind. A voice - one all makuta recognised, if not all sentient beings in the M.U.

Nivorn.

The caliginous voice of the nightlord echoed in Mandragora's mind. "Brother makuta, as the only shadow-element being embarking on The Tomorrow, I am afraid you are the only one I can contact in this way. If you are busy, I apologise.

"There is a certain someone I shall transport here, at midnight if possible. Airimos has already been informed of her position in the colonisation and you have likely caught wind of it before now. She is with me. I shall transport her to you - again, you are the only one with whom this will work - when you are ready. It will not take long to acheive focus."

And then the voice withdrew.

[Airimos]

Airimos nodded to Mandragora, his Lead Engineer, and turned back to the cargo bay doors.

It was only a month or so until the completion of The Tommorow. That meant that Airimos would have to get together his crew beforehand. Many positions could easily be filled, but as for the Terraforming and Leadership roles...

He turned to Kristo before leaving the cargo bay.
"Tell me, Kristo, do you have any interest in filling a job for me?"

"Well, as I'm sure you can figure, there's a lot of things to be done on this ship, many roles to be played. Come, take a walk with me."

The two set out of the cargo bay into the bright afternoon suns. A figure flew up through the light and landed next to them.

"Kristo! There you are! I've been looking for you."

"Ah, a friend of yours, Kristo! Another Toa! And of Air! Splendid! Come, come my friend!"

Airimos led the group around to the front of the ship and as they walked, he spoke to them.

"Now, you two Toa have been hanging around this ship for some time. But, you may not have the full understanding of it.

"You see, the goal of this ship and the expedition it will journey is to colonize new worlds, new Universes! The wonders of the Multiverse shall unfold before it!

"The first new Universe has been dubbed 'Bota Magna,' or 'Great Jungle,' and, well, it's less than a friendly place. The atmosphere and all around living conditions are brutal. That's where you two come in.

"Of course, you won't go it alone, there will be other Toa to help, but there something about you two that I feel I can trust, so I am appointing you, Kristo, as my Lead Terraformer, and your friend (whom I didn't get the name of, but a friend of a friend and such) shall be your second-in-charge.

"If that's alright with the two of you."

"Speaking of which," Airimos began, "your first job is to help recruit more Terraformers. Remember, there's going to be a need for many nature-based elements and other things that a fully functioning Universe needs. Try to find some Toa out in Tommorow City."

"Is that what it's called?" Narios asked.

"Nope," Airimos responded, "That's just my little nickname for it."

In the palace of shadows on Korrothis, Nivorn sat back in his throne and dimmed his eyes, focusing his mind on the city surrounding The Tomorrow. ((What island is it on, btw? Must be a big one?))

*Discount my earlier communication, makuta.*

The woman stood before him in the single dim circle of light in the massive chamber. In the dead silence every breath, every microscopic movement was audible. The light dwindled and disappeared, pitch black shadows smothering her. When the light crept back, the woman was gone.

----

Ia gasped for breath as the clinging shadows peeled away from her and she found herself outside, the gleaming hulk of The Tomorrow rearing above her in the starlight. She was aware of a prescence behind her.
Her gaze locked onto a silver-armoured toa. Male. He regarded her with suspicion. Wouldn't you if you had just seen someone materialise out of the shadows?

((Eep! Sorry! I hadn't got any messages from MOCpages about the group, so I forgot about it, assumed inactivity since nobody replied directly to me. Hehe, I kinda rely on that.))

Nivorn's voice relayed through the night to Mandragora's mind.
*I was about to contast you.* There was a strange pulsing screech in the background of the message. *Pressing affairs have arisen, kin. You will hear more as our messengers spread through the universe, but an emergency is gripping us, and I sought to get Ia to you as quickly as possible, before it became 'im'possible.

Ia looked to Airimos forlornly. "I am here for the benefit of ship and crew, captain. If you remember, Korrothis wishes to keep the ship in contact, and I am to take control during an emergency, using my powers. I also come with important news: The air and ice lords are dead. Do not ask me how it happened, I do not know, but the ice and air elements are beginning to go out of control. [Airimos]

"Grave...danger..."

Airimos felt a bit overwhelmed for a moment, but knew he had to get a hold of himself, for the sake of his crew.

"I understand. Well, although the Tommorow is in no way near completion..." He heasitated, "I have an idea.

He walked over to a table with many drawings and schematics of the ship and portions of it. He brushed off several papers and found the one he was looking for.

Ia walked over to see what Airimos was doing.
"What is that? Some sort of...weapon?"

"What?! No! The Tommorow has no weapons! And will not! This is a peaceful and purely scientific vessel! But I digress. What this is, my dear, is the early write up of one of my earlier design concepts."

"Design concepts for what?" Ia asked.

"An Artificial Atmosphere Genorator. You see, in the current condition of the Tommorow, the hull and main deck of the ship are unfinished and exposed, making it incabable of flight, merely for the fact that it isn't airtight; any crew onboard would get sucked into the vaccume of space.

"What this device will do is, utilizing the elemental engergies of both Toa of Magnitism and Air, create an artificial bubble of air where the crew is free to be inside OR outside the ship, free from harm or danger."

"Brilliant..." Ia commmented.

"There are a few flaws, however...and there's the lack of Toa of Magnitism in this area, not to mention the death of the Airlord...It will cause...setbacks for this technology."

"We'll have to make it work. When can you estimate completion and takeoff?"

Airimos thought a moment.
"A week and a half, IF we get enough Toa."

"Don't you worry about that..."

((I actually had the idea for this artificial atmosphere from the very beggining, but thought it'd be better to come out now. :D))

((Yup, on it. Oiy...and it was like four paragraphs!! XD))

[Airimos]

Airimos turned away as if in thought and muttered under his breath:
"Mad is right...carrying all of those weapons like that..."

Airimos faced the Matoran again.
"Alright. I'll give you a chance. But please...put that thing away..."
He mentioned to the double barreled pistol ((Watched the Green Hornet, have we? :3)) the Matoran was holding. Slightly embarrased, he did so.

The Matoran held out a hand for Airimos to shake, his mechanical one.
"I'm Dirge, by the way. Pleasure to be on your crew, Captain. Hey, what's that?"

Before Airimos could grab Dirge's hand, he noticed the blueprint Ia was holding of the Artificial Atmosphere Generator.

"What's this? Some sort of design for a magnetic field genorator of some kind?"

Airimos, intrested by the beginning of a scientific disscusion, dropped his prior attitude towards Dirge and began his explanation.

"Very close. It utilizes the elemental energies of both Toa of Magnetism and Air to-"

"Creat an Artificial Atmosphere! Brilliant! Are you planning on direct current or alternating for the basic electromagnetic field?"

"Direct; there's no need for distance here."

Ia, barely grasping the concepts the two were discussing, reminded Airimos of the 'pressing matter' at hand.

"Right, anyway," He grabbed Dirge's hand and shook it with vigor, "I'm sorry about my prior attitude. Glad to have you on the team, but we'll have to continue this tommorow. Try and find a room at the Inn until then."

"I will, Captain."

"Oh, please, call me Airimos."

Dirge left the room, leaving Ia and Airimos to their 'pressing matter.'

((THERE. Finally done...and it's still not exactly like it was before, but, eh...that is life. P.S. to Gringat, I guess the next step in this is collecting enough Toa (coughAlpha's Charactercough) before the next chapter. THEN we can get to Bota.))

The airlord Maelestrakk and icelord Azmyrus are dead. When midnight hits, the zenith of the icelord begins, as I'm sure you know. Balin and I are doing what we can, but Tempesta Caelestis ((An elemental storm where one or more elements go haywire)) will envelop the universe before too long. The storms approach your city as we speak - it is IMPERATIVE that The Tomorrow leaves as soon as possible before the storm hits the ship in full.*

{Edited once}

At hearing this news, Mandragora turned on his heel, heading back where he had left Airimos.
Ultimately, he reasoned, Ia would already have informed Airimos of this development and had probably considered using the AAG.

As he turned the corner he spotted someone trying to get in through a side entrance. Or out, he couldn't tell.

As Mandragora drew closer, he realised that it was the Toa from earlier, the one that had seen Ia's arrival. But if he was a Toa of Magnetism, he might help with the AAG.

"Ah, hello. I believe we met earlier. I'm Mandragora, Lead Engineer. I didn't catch your name."
"My name's Cerrus."
"You are a Toa of Magnetism, yes?"
"Yeah...who wants to know?"
"The Captain."

And before Cerrus knew what was happening, Mandragora had clicked his fingers and hurled them both into the black-red mist of a shadow hand teleport.

Ia and Airimos were in fevered discussion over a blueprint when the makuta and the toa appeared. She looked up at Cerrus.
Cerrus started. "You-"
Airimos jumped and laughed. "Ha! Mandragora, you are amazing. This is just who we need!" The makuta nodded, with what could possibly have been a smile. Cerrus looked startled.

His question was answered by the sudden snap of cold seemingly echoing through every particle in the cabin. Above them on a far wall, a timer on the ship switched into the midnight hour.

"Tempesta Magna is predicted to spread at fifty kio per hour. We must hope it is as slow as that. We have little over two days before it reaches this island."

((ZOMFG!!! BRCII IS slightly REVIVED!! :DDD!! Hmm...where does this put us... ah! Anouncements!))

[Airimos]

It had been a few hours and the crew had finally gotten completely organized. Some thousand Matoran and Toa had gathered in the large expanses of the cargo holds.

Airimos walked up to the central area of the balcony that was raised above the whole complex. The crew hushed at his presence. Speakers carried his words to every nook and cranny on the ship.

"Crew. This is your Captain speaking. As many of you have heard correctly, opperation Nightgaurd is in effect. This is because of some terrible news...

"Few of you may have noticed, but a great storm, Tempesta Magna, is coming. Both Maelestrakk and Azmyrus have died; how, I do not know. The only thing that matters at the present is the consequences of their death."

A low murmur took the crowd. Airimos raised his hands for silence.

"Silence! Please, there is more...Opperation Nightguard will protect us, hopefully, but the icelord's zenith has given us little time to work with. It seems as that we have a mere two days until we must take off. It is imparitive we do so, or face the destruction of this ship, this dream.

"I trust each and every one of you on this ship, and know we can do it. We WILL do it!"

The crew gave a loud cheer and Airimos went on with his anouncement.

"From now on, all personel who are not working on the outer hull, engines, sheilds, or navigation are to remain in the Cargo holds; you should be safe here. We will do as much as we can with the time we have.

"And also, I require a private meeting with all members of the AAG project. Meet in my cabin in an hour. Dismissed."

((I'm thinking that we can write out the events of the next day: the crew works on the Tommorow, the AAG starts production, etc. Then, here's the fun part, Tempesta Magna comes early! :D That should make for a fun bit to write, eh? :D))

It took Mandragora and Airimos considerably shaorter time than thought to find and get everyone to Airimos's cabin. Irritatingly, the toa, Nairos, was waiting for them when they arrived and was exploding with impatience. The rahkshi guarding thae door didn't help either.
One Airimos had sorted out the toa's fit of pique, they began.

Airimos's cabin was in a total disarray. His bed had been push to one side to allow space for the desk to sit in middle of the room. Various cables and wires snaked from the comms unit on the other side of the room, to a thing at the centre of Airimos's desk that looked like an oversized camera on its side Around this desk the assembled toa and matoran sat or stood, Mandragora taking the space behind the desk for himself.

Airimos stepped to the centre of the room, raising his hands for quiet.
"Just before we start, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to point something out. Our makuta engineer-"Mandragora", as you call him-is not really called that. His real name is currently unknown to me, but this I have overlooked due to his great contribution to this project."
Dirge gave Airimos a suspicious look. "Why are you telling us this now.?"
"Too indicate to you that you are now trusted members of this vessel, and to excuse any slowness on his part. It must be difficult getting used to a new name. You will still call him Mandragora, though."
The makuta straightened up,finished with the device on the desk, apparently unanaware of the conversation concerning his identity.
"I'm ready now." he confirmed.

Airimos indicated for silence, and stepped to the back of the room, dimming the lights.
"Hope this works," Mandragora mumbled, flicking a switch at the device's base.

A ball of light, not much bigger that that used in kohlii span into life. Inside it, a minature Bota Magna with a tiny Tommorow some way from it formed. As Mandragora spoke, the pictures changed in accordance to what he was saying.

"The idea is for the ship to lift off at a vertical angle. The scaffolding around it should ensure that this is possible. With normal engines, this would take ninety percent of our fuel, but thanks to-what was it?-DingbatTronics, we managed to get blueprints for chronodermic-aided ones.

"This means that the wast product of the fuel will be fed into a chamber that reverts it to it's state before combustion, allowing it to be burnt again. With this technology, we will able to get up to a thousand time more yield from the fuel onboard.

"The trans-ether journey itself may take anything up to two weeks.Chronodermic engines are classified as a type of time travel, as one of the affects of this undoing process is the slowing down of time within a certain area. During this journey, there is an unlikely chance of an asteroid storm, as we will be unable to spot the storm until it hits us, as time, from our point of view, out side the vessel will be going fifty percent faster-but, hey, that's what asteroid cannons are for. The finalising of the preparation of the ship will continue as the journey progresses, thanks to the untilisation of Airimos's AAG. The on-board rahkshi horde-supplied kindly by Nivorn of Korrothis-will be helping us as well.

"Upon arrival, the lower part of the ship will split from the upper, larger part. This lower part will stay in orbit while the upper part lands on the surface and begins mining and other such things. The materials gained will be tranmatted to the platform for use and analysation.

"Provided this works, we will likely see a second Tommorrow within a decade, built from the materials of Bota Magna it's self."

((YAY! BRCII IS ALIVE...ISH!!! Let's see, now....hmm...Ah! Journey schedual.))

[Airimos]

Airimos circled around the table, the shimering sphere of light casting an artificial glare on his face.

"As you can see by this map," Airimos gestured to the sphere, "the Tommorow will cross anywhere from 200,000 to 250,000 mios. This equates to at least 2 weeks travel time with the new chronodermic engines. This brings us to our important business of this meeting."
Airimos turned to the first member of the assembled, a Ko-Matoran, appearing weak and sickly. He coughed as Airimos adressed him.

"Irole, how are you and your team doing on the conduction coils. I trust the thermoconductivity issues have been resolved?"

Irole stood, coughed and responded to his Captain.
"The coils should be adequate for the journey. My only concern is the number of Toa of Ice we have; the constant two week maintenece may be too high."

"Hmmm... how many Toa of Water as well? If they work in combination, the coils should be fine."

Irole nodded as he srcawled down a few note on a tablet. Airimos moved on to he next Matoran, a Po-Matoran who focused on the emission fields, next a Ga-Matoran who helped with the ergonomic concerns, and so on and so forth around the circle.

By the end of the meting, nearly all issues had been addressed and the crew went off on their way to attend to the last minute adjustments. Airimos stood in hisoffice alone with Mandragora and sighed. He turned to face the Makuta Engineer.

"Well, is there anything else you can think of that needs addressing, old friend?"

I had finally dispatched my prey and I was dragging their limp bodies back to my home. when I saw the flock moving away from my outermost property. " this should be interesting." I said to the deaf and lifeless heaps of flesh I was carrying. " very interesting." (( I thoughts this was dead? but it's not!))

"Well, is there anything else you can think of that needs addressing, old friend?"

Mandragora drummed his metal hand on the desk, deep in thought.
"No, I don't think so. Oh, yes. Asteroid cannons.Light based weaponry, I remember. Rather cliched. I know you want this to be a scientific vessels but..."
He trailed off.
Airimos nodded stiffly. "Yes, I suppose we can allow for that. Safety and all."
Mandragora gave a quick nod of his head, and left the room.

[Narios]
Narios leaned against the entrance to the door, eyeing the others in the room. Who he saw was a matoran, of air he presumed, and a... makuta? He thought all of them were evil, although he was usually wrong.

"What exactly was your reason for asking everyone to come?" Narios asked.

He wondered when exactly they were going to leave for Bota Magna, and when... if they would return. He still had things in his life he wanted to do, afterall.

He wondered when exactly they were going to leave for Bota Magna, and when... if they would return. He still had things in his life he wanted to do, after all.

Mandragora's response was more perceptive that most other people might make; having the ability to read minds was a fairly useful social tool.

"Will we get back from Bota? Hmmm...difficult to say. Probably... a year? More? It's hard to say. As for the journey time, I'd presume about- "

Airimos got there first.

"As we are launching this mission round about the time when Bota Magna and Aqua Magna-this planet-are aligned, and the distance between them is the shortest for ten years, and we'll be travelling at about...

“..420 mio per hour...” Mandragora cut in. ((doesn't sound a lot, but it's about 580,000
km/h!))
“...approximately 30 days. But thanks to the temporal warping side-effect of the chrono-engines, that's cut to two weeks.”

((You know what; I'm going to do some writing here if it KILLS ME!...HRHNRG...lol, jk.))

[Airimos]

The captain continued.

"Although, given the current state of the Tommorow and the impromtu launch, the journey will be one of great haste. If we do not complete at least the outer hull and renetry sheilds, we are surely doomed upon reaching Bota Magna, even with the AAG."

The cabin was quiet for a second. Narios still leaned uneasily against the doorway. Mandragora began to walk past him out the door.

"I'm going to see how Ia is going; see if she's ready for the, uh, job."

Narios squinted his eyes as he left.

*Ia? Is this who I saw earlier? The shadowy figure? Hmmm...*

Standing up straight, he addressed Airimos.

"So...why'd you bring me up here."

Airimos gestured to the desk beside him and shuffled a few papers, revealing a large schematic.

"It is this, my friend, that I inquire to your assistance. It is the Artificial Atmosphere Generator. With this device, we will be able to work in the ether without the need of Operation Nightguard and-"

Narios interupted.

"What exactly /is/ Operation Nightguard. All I know is that it will supposedly protect us from Tempesta Magna."

Airimos bit his lip nervously, but let out a sigh and spoke.

"Operaton Nightguard is the work of Lord Nivorn and one of his subjects, Ia. Nivorn has been a most generous benefactor in the making of this ship, and he insisted that I bring along Ia, a Toa of Shadow, to help as an emergency measure of protection."

"How exactly does a /Toa of Shadow/ help us?!"

"Simply put, she is incredibly powerful, powerful enough to encompass the entire ship in a wall of semi-solid shadow, keeping the ship and it's crew and contents safe and sound."

Airimos smiled, gave a salute, and set off back to the rear of the ship.

((Alpha, this is probably where Alpha's Character Cerrus could be introduced, along with some other random, not-so-important Toa of various elements can come in.))

((What about MY character?its a toa of LIFE for gods' sake..*<_*))

((I have, amazingly, thought of the REAL name of my character...!))

Mandragora found Ia on his second guess-the bridge.

The bridge of the Tomorrow was atypical of most ether-ships you'd find. Huge, black monoliths dominated the back wall, several times the size of Mandragora himself. A huge dome of solid meta-glass curved from high up to far beneath the platform of the bridge itself. Several instrument panels took up the space left, with a rostrum on a raised platform behind them.

Ia was lunging at the air with her trident, skirts flapping. Mandragoara stood there for several seconds, watching her before annoucing his presence.

"Is that really nessecary?"

Ia performed a partcularly complicated manoevere.

"It's dance ritual we ce-matoran of the notheren continent perform. It focuses the mind, the heart and the body. Which are precisely what I'm going to need."
