I don't know. I've had a few favorites throughout my life. First was Spider-man, but then they killed that, so I started collecting Bionicles. Though I continued to collect them, I started liking Lego Batman, part of it was because my dad's favorite super hero is Batman. So how couldn't I like that? But they killed that too, but I continued to collect Bionicles. Now Lego is killing Bionicle, so I sure hope Hero Factory lives up to its predecessor.

My favourite lego theme has to be MECHS. I just love the many kinds of mechs that are going around, I mean you can get single, small ones which are usually bipedial and you can also get the huge lumbering ones which usually incorporate machine-guns and missile launchers.

It's not intelligence. LEGO could rule the market with it but it stays away on purpose because it is a kid's toy and Halo is not a kid's game. It stays away from war and bloody violence (while halo isn't very bloody, by comparison to many other things)...

But if lego made halo its not like the set is inappropriate only the language in the game. but then if you buy lego halo you normally know the game and you play it or you bought it for the pieces, which little kids dont normally do.

Megablocks is already doing it, but if they weren't, I think Lego would take up whatever sells. And as aminuteagoacrosstheroad said, little kids wouldn't play with the adult themes. I'm not a big Halo fan, I'm just saying my opinion.

True, Lego would not be putting bad language in the sets or anything. But the idea would remain. If Lego made Halo, then that would be like Lego approving what happened in the game. The Lego company would not promote anything with mature themes in it, even if any sets that could possibly be made wouldn't include that.

My favourite LEGO sets are Creator houses and modular buildings, e.g. Cafe Corner. It's really funny trying to create buildings, especially external details and the interiors. I also like custom scale car models, I just finished my first one following the Creator style and I'm now looking forward to receive pieces from Bricklink to create my second model using the project that I finished yesterday.

Lego is gonna stop STAR WARS!?!?!?!?!?!?!,!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! That's completely stupid and dumb. It just doesn't make sense. Without SW Lego would lose a lot of money. Actually, the contract between Lucasfilm LTD and Lego is up in 2011 BUT, both parties can choose to renew the contract. Seeing as how SW is the most successful (read: makes both groups lots of money) theme, I'm pretty sure the contract will be renewed.

what does renewed mean?does it mean it will be longer or shorter?

It has nothing to do with boredom. I uploaded a creation and noticed bad spelling in the sentence warning against bad spelling.

Hello folks! Just a friendly reminder from Chris Phipson:

It's that time of year again where I go around to all the groups I'm a part of and shamelessly promote the 2011 MocAthalon!

Come on over, sign up, get your team ready and let's get this thing started!

Hey guys, sorry i haven't been active at all. Things have been a bit hectic lately. I was wondering something. Is it just me, can anyone else see the like symbol next to a creation? The thing that has a smiley face and a number. For some reason everything shows a 0, even though it has for example 100 likes. Thanks!
