Honestly, I have no idea why it says there are 67 members instead of 66. Please, let's get some conversation going! It's a club, not a "Post my creations here and forget about it". If you were in the Impending Doom Contest visit that group I'm updating a few things. Permalink
I have something of a curiosity question here, what are all of your biggest sources of inspiration? My personal ones are sci-fi and period movies and shows, as well as other builder's creations in genres I like! Permalink
OK so I have no idea how this group gets on the homepage, but doesn't get more members :P. We need to brainstorm and come up with a great idea to make this group interesting. Also, you can delete threads by deleting all of the comments in them. I can delete all the locked threads if you want. Permalink

We have this group for all the people who can't get their MOCs noticed. (the less than 50 likes rule), and presumably the group's purpose is to get these MOCs the notice they deserve. I think that the root of this group's problems is that it doesn't do much to get creations noticed. It has become a graveyard for lonely MOCs. There isn't much appeal in a group like that. the builders want activity and they want happy faces. Some may want instruction.
1. happy faces
2. group activity
3. building skill
To get this group active again, group leadership will need to take action to keep the above 3 things going.
1. Happy faces. Thats why I suggested requiring commentary in that other thread. It keeps traffic going to individual MOCs. It guarantees that people's MOCs will get noticed.
2. group activity. An active group conversation section draws activity. A group that hosts a lot of contests gains members and keeps activity high.
3. Building skill. While there is not substitute for build time, there are a few tips and tricks that more experienced builders can share with less experienced people to help them along. Those of us with a lot of skill should post MOCs or start threads that are all about new building techniques. Think the "LEGO master builder" academy, but better. This can keep new builders coming back
As an aside, I think I'll take some pictures and propose a new group logo. Maybe a group of castle peasant minifigs. Permalink

Heeey, thanks for the invite!
I see that most creations in this group are about space ships and battle scenes... So, Do I have to add something in this theme or can I add some of my cars?
There is no theme :D its just a group that helps you get all of your creations noticed. You're welcome ;) Permalink
