New Contest

I am thinking of starting a new contest. Is anyone interested? I am thinking that the topic should be a diorama that should at least include one custom building. (it can only include 1 building if you want).

The rules I propose so far are:

*No computer programs for building lego (you can still use decals)

*If you have a custom build you are allowed a official lego build (eg: if you have a custom building you can have a official building, if you have a custom car you can have an official car.)

Tell me if you like it or not.

The contest will be due maybe 1 month after it is started.

Nathan, I like this idea. I also like that if someone includes a original creation, then they may use an unmodified TLG creation. I also like the long lead time. It should give our members a while to plan a build.

I could offer free instructions as a prize... or maybe a collectible minifigure still in the package. If I'm offering a prize does that mean I cant compete?

Holy crap Brian. Give us mere mortals a go!!!! I think its pretty obvious that if you enter your probably gunna win! Perhaps we could get you to do your entry with a blindfold on and both hands tied behind your back. :) Ooohh i know, we could steal your bricks and leave you with bugger all like the rest of us (Hee hee). Cheers bud and i can't wait to see what you come out with, Oggy :)

Brian isn't the only good builder. I reckon that you could beat him. ;)

so anything City? that covers such a broad spectrum. Are there going to be different category winners, such as vehicles, buildings, other?

There will only be one winner. The topic is like a town layout and it has to include one buidling.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Nathan. But i do suffer from a severe lack of free bricks at the moment, and the "Lego cave" fit out is taking up most of my limited free time at this point.

Hay Nathan, could I advertise my Steam Punk Contest in your group?
