Sorry about the whole mix up if you did get one. Anyway, whoever makes the best Mini gets the moderator. Good luck!

Cheers,

Howdy, thanks for the invite. I assume from your comment more people were invited. Hope some come by.

I just posted all my modules for Micropolis, including a new one for a bluff. It's my first attempt and I might want to redo it down the road but it's a start. The group has several people working on the city and it's atarting to get pretty large. Maybe a dozen square blocks with more coming. I have 4 blocks myself. I'm planning to redo a bunch of the buildings and make them stronger.

I also need to change the bases from the old standard to the new standard. We were using two Technic holes per side but that used more parts that not everyone had a lot of. Sticking it all together with two pins on a side was a pain. One per side is much better.

Anyway just babbling. Must hit the hay, early to work tomorrow.

see ya.

I am actually making an underground and adding it to the Micro group. I got the trains, but the stations are in progress. Good luck on your building, Garth.

Cheers,

GMLTC is a local group that has a big train layout and they have been putting underground trains in their giant train layout. Stations can be cool places. Lots of great opportunity to put in tiles and bright colors. see ya. garth

Yup, I'll be putting the creation into the others. It will be a big hit!

I don't think I understand why you created two identical sounding groups at the same time? What is the difference between the groups?

Who should join which, and for what reason?

Mini is for "very detailed" small Lego cities, but Micro is more like those small cities with tall buildings, just solid and sturdy.

Well, actually if you haven't noticed, the Big Ben, one of my favourite buildings, is shown a bit zoomed up in Mini, but in Micro, the Ben is a bit far. This shows the size of the groups so you don't get confused.
