What is a good Camera?

I everybody. My camera had an unfortunate accident a month ago, and I have given up on trying to fix it. I'm getting a new one, but I don't know what to buy. Any suggestions?

I have a Panasonic Lumix and it has worked great. The Macro feature allows close up pics and the hand stabilization feature helps eliminate blur. And the removable memory card makes it easy to transfer pics to my computer because I have a card reader on my PC.

I use my camera on my MAC, but I also have a Canon powershot S 200 Digital Elph. It takes good picture, but you'll have to add lighting in.

I can't give you good advice on smaller camera's, but the one I shoot with is a Canon XS, and I typically use a 35-80 mm lens. This is a great combo, but it will cost you several hundred used...

As they have brought out a new Panasonic Lumix the old one is on Amazon VERY cheaply http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Lumix-TZ7-Digital-Camera/dp/B001T0H0RG/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t I am buying one.
Personally I use a Nikon D200 SLR but they are very expensive and I am a photographer outside of lego so I have an excuse
