I'm working on *another* large scale MOC of a Star Wars ship that requires the construction of an oversized wing. I don't mind buying parts if I knew what I needed. The best I've been able to do so far is assemble my large plates over somewhat of a technic frame. The problem is they get so heavy and so awkward.

Does anyone have advice on building large wings?

Funny thing that i'm also having some problems building wings, bat wings that is.

If they don't need to be at a special angle it's best to reinforce the wing with 3 layers of plates, i've learned that wings can easily snap if they aren't strongly made.

When i'm building with my Frends on a SHIP, we usually make a large frame out of technic peices then reinforce the frame with regular peices, then finish by building the wing.
