Wow! interesting story Dave! I don't have a lot of stories with cars, and it's really a hard work to name one favorite car, but lets say that I'm in love with that American bad boy the "Shelby GT500" 1967' or 2007... any one could work for me ;) thanks for sharing :)

In late 1965, my parents took us out car shopping. We went to an Oldsmobile dealer, who had a brand new machine for the 1966 model year. A favorite? How about the 1929 Bugatti...or the most outrageous? Check out the 1939 Delahaye. Quickest? Try racing a Porsche 930 Turbo (good luck). Great question, and a GREAT topic for conversation! that Delahaye is really cool! my personal favorite all time car is the 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. its my dream car. i want one in Lime Green with black Rims, Black "Shaker" Intake, Black (low profile)Spoiler, black "Racing-Bee" Stripes(conceived by Designer Chip Foose(its a cross between the SuperBee stripes and Racing Stripes where the SB stripe doesnt connect in the middle but instead takes 2 90degree turns to form 2 parallel racing stripes to the rear(youll be able to see them when i get my Muscle Car for my Muscle Car Challenge uploaded late next week/early folowing week))) and origional "HEMI" Stripes on the Rear QPs, and a bright Red Interior. other favorite cars of mine include: Audi R8, Corvette Z06 and C7, Camaros, 60-70s Challengers/Chargers(tho i do like the '09 Challenger as well), Porsche Cayman S, 911 Turbo, and GT3RS, Bowler Wildcat, Lotus Elise, Exige, and new 2010 Evora, '97 Mitsibishi Eclipes, Nissan 350Z/370Z and Skyline, Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg CCXR, origional HumVee and Civilian H1, Shelby GT500 Super Snake... i could keep going... oh, and the Dodge Viper SRT10 =D

The porsche carrera GT, the Ferrari 575 m f1, the Ferrari 599 gtb Fiorano, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, the lamborghini gallardo (lp560-4 and the normal) The Maserati Granturismo, the audi R8 V10, the Audi rs6, The corvette Z01, the Corvette ZR1, the Morgan Aeromax, the BMW M5 (Own one), the mercedes slk 55 amg, the other amg's from Mercedes, the Mercedes SLR MClaren, Ferrari F430, The porsche 997 turbo, bugatti 16:4 Veyron.

I'd have to say my favorite is the Ford SVT Lightning. My dad and I are currently looking for one right now. A 1993-1994 model is probably my favorite.

I have a lot of favorites, but I think my true fave is lingering in the supercar section. The Audi R8 is an aggressive looker and all 'round performer, but the luscious curves of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage get me excited! So there you have it! V8 vantage!

Ford Crown Victoria. It's a big, gas-guzzling, old fashioned bathtub-on-wheels that Ford is embarrassed to show off at Car shows, but is still in production and doesn't care. This car just screams YEAH BMW AND HONDA IM AN AMERICAN SO WHAT WANNA START SOMETHIN'

THE CORVETTE!! THE CORVETTE!! THE CORVETTE!! THE CORVETTE!! Oh, and did I mention I like the Corvette? I'm also into concept cars..... hmmmmm... maybe that's why I always design my own cars instead of making real ones. I never thought of that before... Yes, I've tried to make a Lego Corvette, but it's really hard to capture all those smooth curves and lines in Lego. But I'll keep trying! And don't even get me started on the cars I don't like!

My favourite car is the Maserati MC12 Corsa, that is just a lovely piece of machinery, and a true GT. In real live i drive an Audi A6, which is close to the ideal car to drive around for business travel, i really cherrish it.
