So your lazy non-building/judging former groupmates have handed you a Round Three berth on a silver platter. But now it's time to bear down, you Group A brawlers, because the street fight is only going to heat up.

Alex Fojtik
Blake Baer
Sam Ellis
raphael heusser
Thomas N
Heath 'kik36' Flor
Professor Dex
Pony Lord7

Your category was written on a note being passed between a giggling pair of Indiana schoolgirls, intercepted by the teacher and read aloud to the class, and it is...
"The Worst Job in the Universe"

(Do kids pass notes anymore? They probably just text each other now.)

Post a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 20th, or be disqualified.

Once that deadline passes, post your scores for your groupmates' entries in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 23rd, or be disqualified.

This round, the one lowest-scoring player per group will be cut.

Further cuts to even up the groups next round will be taken if necessary.

It would be nice to have a round where no one gets disqualified, okay?

Well gentleman, I am leaving in a few hours for Brickworld and will be gone for over a week without my LEGO. Seeing as how I won't return home until the Tuesday after the deadline I HAD to get something completed this evening. So try not to burn me too much....I didn't want to drop out. Hope you all enjoy. See you guys in about 10 days.

EVERYONE BUILT?!! Hooray! So this group's scores will actually mean something... except Blake has already announced he is going to take a DQ for not judging.

*sigh*

Woo! Busy weekend. Looks like the 'pagers put up some great MOCs for us people with BW envy to look at these past few days. Nice. Before I go browsing all over the place, down to business:

Blake Baer - Score of (3). Your build and presentation are VERY well executed. However, I make a pretty big distinction between 'worst' and 'hardest' job. I just wasn't convinced the PR guy has the 'worst' job. Remember: let the bricks do the talking.

Sam Ellis - Score of (4). The build is solid, the commentary effective, and I gotta agree any job dealing with fecal matter is pretty bad. Sweet urinal design.

raphael heusser - Score of (4.5). I feel like this 'job' captures the spirit of the category the best. I cannot imagine the anguish of that kind of labor. The MOC speaks for itself: a good (and unfortunately all too rare) thing. The only thing holding this back from a 5 is the lack of detail in the landscaping.

Thomas N - Score of (2.5). Remember: Show not tell. You told me the worst job, but you didn't show me in LEGO. Good idea, though.

Heath'kik36'Flor - Score of (4) - Your builds back up your commentary. There is a good dash of humor, and you used the sweet minifig head with a diamond-eyeball. I can hardly fault you for rushing the builds a little to make BW. Good job.

Professor Dex - Score of (2.5). You met the conditions of the category and gave us a clean presentation...but not much else.

PonyLord7 - Score of (1). You got balls, but not enough wit to back 'em up. Also, I hardly consider that a 'job.'

Heath 'kik 36' Flor: Score of 3.5 (The idea was perfect, and I'm glad you managed to squeeze something into the deadline).

Professor Dex: Score of 2 (Not a bad build and a good choice of job, but it left me wanting something more).

Alex Fojtik: Score of 4.5 (Great vigs, great storyline, and excellent dialogue. A very unique take on the category).

Blake Baer: Score of 4 (Although there is a difference between hardest and worst, I just love the build too much to give it anything lower).

Thomas N: Score of 2.5 (A little too much dialogue for me, although I agree it is a terrible job).

Raphael Heussser: Score of 3.5 (Excellent idea, I just wanted to see the build developed a little more).

PonyLord 7: Score of .5 (The pictures were blurry, write up weird, and it did not really fit into the category).

Quoting Thomas N
Professor Dex: 1, not a great build, and pretty much stealing an idea from a statement made on a TV show.

That's the point..

Shannon, I submitted my scores last night but the language filter blocked it. You will need to approve it before it shows up.

I have no moderation alerts so you'll need to do it again without the potty mouth.

Some otherwise innocent words are flagged so a post containing them just disappears, and doesn't even go to moderation. Like "crocktail" without the "R". I know how weird and frustrating it can be trying to figure out what non-swear word is dooming your post.

My comment was autodeleted for no good reason at all....twice now. So I will just give you the numbers real quick. I think everyone built well. A couple of builds left me scratching my head and the scores reflect that.

Alex Fojtik- 4 Fantastic build as usual.

Blake Baer- 3.5 Have fun at camp!

Sam Ellis- 3.5 Great build as usual, but I expected a bit more uumph from ya.

raphael heusser- 3.5 Def a bad job, and a smudge on humanity's record.

Thomas N- 3 The Kelso sheep joke has been officially buried in case you didn't hear. Good build though.

Professor Dex- 3.5 (why did you change your name mid contest???)

Pony Lord7- 1 If you're gonna bring the smack...do it right.

DQ'ed for not judging:
Blake Baer
Pony Lord7

MOCrazy, aka Prof. Dex, you did not score Heath or Blake, so you will have 0.75 points deducted from your final score.

For not judging Heath's MOC you will receive a 0.5 point deduction.

Blake did announce he was withdrawing, so I can kind of see ignoring his. But he did build an entry, so technically you should have judged it. 0.25 point deduction.

(Someone skipped Heath in their judging last round, too. Is he hard to see or something?)

Thanks! I did indeed. Thank you also for not saying "worst is different than hardest" like all the others in here who did the exact same thing as I did.
