Your category comes from the twisted mind of Chris Phipson, and it is...
"Three Things That Should Never Go Together"

Post a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 6th, or be disqualified.

Once that deadline passes, post your scores for your groupmates' entries in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 9th, or be disqualified.

This round, one builder with the lowest score in the group will be cut.
To even up the groups next round, other low scorers may be cut as well.

GO!

Just because I'm nice, and don't want to see someone lose because his "links aren't working", I will put LegoLord 123's link up.

here it is, I hope that it still is qualifiable for judging, even if I put the link up.

Disqualified for not building:
Tyler Halliwell
Rob Hanson

And then there's the strange case of legolord 123... his fate shall be in the collective hands of his groupmates. If you decide Thomas's sportsmanlike link for a competitor should count, go ahead and judge legolord's entry. If you think he should be DQ'ed, say so. All it takes is one vote for disqualification, and he's gone.

The power is yours. Get to judging!

Great message, great scenes, great presentation. Plus helping out Legolord shows great sportsmanship.
Professor Dex 1
Like a sharpied clone, a bowl of sharpies is not a moc.
Legolord 123 2
Cool vignette, I can see what's going on despite the blurriness but I don't see how "Brother taking pics" fits into your three.
jason corlett 5
Very funny moc and "story"
Wes Pitter 5
That's just awesome and very well thought out.

Time to break things down:

Professor Dex - 2.0 Sorry, but a clone under a pile of sharpies just didn't woo me.

legolord 123 - 2.5 There's something going on here, if only I could see it.

Thomas N. - 4.0 The message is there, and the build is good quality.

Nick Jensen - 4.5 High quality set meets funny situation.

jason corlett - 4.5 Lose the innuendo, and you got me all the way. I know, you can't please everybody, but there it is.

LegoLord 123 - The pictures aside, I see your intent. 2 points.

Professor Dex - Although I agree with you, there is hardly any build. 1 point.

Jaso Corlett - nice sets and funny presentation. 4 points.

Wes Pitter - I just love the details and the unique concept. 4.5 points.

Nick Jenson, nice build overall, but a vignette just kinda leaves me wanting more. 3 points.

Jason:4 Made me laugh...
Nick:2.5 It was OK, not a Great entry but good...
legolord:2 very blurry pics, kind of got what you were saying though..
Thomas:5 Very Nice, strong topic, nice presentation and you and Jason Both, love the way you make fun of Phipson A+
Wes:4.5 Awesome, I could never build something like that in a week but I was kind of missing the theme in it... But that's OK, most of us struggled with that...

Thomas N- The builds where good and so was the idea behind them- 3.5

Professor Dex- Again, the idea was good. The whole "clone on a plate" debate is getting a bit old- 3.5

Legolord 123- I really shouldn't be judging this but... 2

Nick Jensen- The build was fantastic but the story lacked something. I'm not exactly sure what. But it's still good for a 3.5

Wes Pitter- I'm pretty sure i don't need to explain myself here -5

This was a surprisingly difficult category. I think we all struggled with it.

Yeah. I scribbled all over both sides of a sheet of binder paper, and moped around the house for 3 days before starting to build. All this because I didn't get my dream category, "More than meets the eye." At least we can say one thing: We have NO idea what we're getting next time!

Haha when I first seen the category, I thought it was going to be easy. Then I started thinking about it and I couldn't come up with anything! Just my luck I'll get another Phipson category like "that's what she said" or "you know your a redneck when..." !

I had just finished driver's ed, which is where I got most of the inspiration for my build.

Everybody finished judging? Good. To be honest, my entry was started 4 hours before the deadline! Mostly because 6 of the given days were spent building the Battle Rifle. Panera's You Pick Two was the random idea that came to me that I just went with. I didn't think this category was too difficult to come up with three things that don't go together, but how to represent them with LEGOs is what got me.

Thats how I felt, took me 5 minutes to build, not to happy with it, actually the part I like the most is the photoshopping on the main image LOL
