All right, Group D moblings, break out the Molotov Crocktails and baseball bats, because once again it's time to rumble!

Mark Legorski
raphael heusser
Casey McCoy
Phil Rumsfeld
Ryan T.
Ethan M.
E.K.O

Your category comes from the fried cortex of Hans Dendauw, and it is...
"Beauty and the Beast"

Post a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 6th, or be disqualified.

Once that deadline passes, post your scores for your groupmates' entries in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 9th, or be disqualified.

This round, one builder with the lowest score in the group will be cut.
To even up the groups next round, other low scorers may be cut as well.

GO!

(If you've never heard of a Molotov "Crocktail," it is an improvised incendiary weapon that exists solely within the MOCpages universe, invented by me, once I figured out that the proper name for it doomed the entire post to unapprovable moderation.)

Yeap, we don't even get the chance to see it... too bad since most kids use that word while discribing a flight deck. Gotta talk to Sean about that one and see if we can get it changed... Anyway, good luck with this category everyone!

Alright here's my entry "Beauty and the Beast":

http://mocpages.com/moc.php/205666

I'm the second person to enter so this will be interesting. BTW, it wouldn't let me add the MOC to the group pool.

The limit is set at one creation a week, maybe you uploaded your first one less than seven days ago? Try again in a few days and if you still can't add it, let out a holler.

Alright, I'm going on a mini-vacation/father son golf outing from mid-Monday-late-Tuesday so I will be unable to add my elaborate responses to my competitor's MOCs. My explanations and scores will be condensed this week.

Mark Legorski - The 'Beauty' and the 'Beast' - Interesting concept, loved the scenery. My favorite this round. 4.5

raphael heusser - The Beauty and the Beast - Wicked monster truck and a great concept. Nice job on the "GT" too. 4

Phil Rumsfeld - beauty and the beast (mob rules, round 2) - Hilarious story line, and pretty good builds. 3.75

Ethan M. - Beauty Meets the Beast - Pretty cool microscale diorama - 3

E.K.O =/ - "beauty and the beast" mob rules entry round 2 - I like all the lime green and the face of the beast, but I didn't like the beauty as well as bad photos, poor grammar, and no capitalization. 1 point for the effort.

Nice round of entries, great job everyone!

Casey McCoy - 3.5 pts. I like the figures and their backdrop, but a little more detail would be nice.

raphael heusser - 4 pts. Cool cars, nice GT lettering, and clever take on the category. The truck seems a bit rough or blocky, though.

E.K.O =/ - 1.5 pts. I'm not quite sure what those creatures are or why one is a beast and the other a beauty, but you did build an entry with some decent construction.

Mark Legorski - 4.5 pts. A great take on the category and those are some nice techniques you used there!

Phil Rumsfeld - 3.25 pts. Clever spin off of the the Beauty and the Beast story and some good sets. Some more details in the construction would have been good, though.

alright! lots more people made the cut this round! me, raphael, and josh! were the only ones who posted our creations and scores in time, 5 DQs. (actually, josh! posted his scores 4 minutes late... Shannon didn't notice)

moving on..

EKO(whatever emoticon or complaint is here now)-- I can forgive the bad english, it isn't your native language. other things, I dislike. you made absolutely no effort to explain this MOC. the entire text was complaints about how you were in a hurry and
"side view of the best! back view of the beast! i think he turned out cool! the beauty! i know it sux! XD FIGHT!!!!! LOL!!" and your little rate and comment marquee. not one word was actually describing your MOC. it needed the desctiption. you get an 0.5.

Mark Legorski-- Again, I didn't exactly understand. the MOC doesn't seem to fit your description. you mention features of the fish, but it's a 1-piece lego fish. I like the turtle, though, but i'm not even sure if that is the turtle. overall, average. a 3.

Ethan M.-- amazing, cleverly restrained, well keeping the focus off the background. my favorite this round. But, this seems a little bit of a wimpy build (size-wise) so, 4.

Casey McCoy-- this is nice, but not really your own build. for building Disney instead of building Casey McCoy, you get a 4.

Raphael Heusser-- I love this. this is beastly (get it? BEASTly?) I don't quite comprehend how it fits into the category, though. 4.5.

What in the name of Ole Kirk Christiansen are you babbling about? Whatever you're tripping on, I hope you brought enough to share around.

Not only do I not care for baseplates stacked up together, but the flash was on giving it a creepy, interesting effect. The last picture also was weird because it was kind of focused, but wasn't at the same time and I saw that annoying cord again. It's definitley and improvement from last entry I must say. And I do forgive you on "grammar" because English is not your first language. Sorry about that, just found it out, but capitalization is still required.

When you are posting something and there is an error such as no capitalization, a red line will be underneath it. Right click on that error and it will give you a list of corrections.

Not only all that, but you also said

"the beauty! i know it sux! XD"

Just for future reference, you might not want to diss your own creation. It will put a negative influence on your creation.

Once again my opinions are my own and I may speak as I wish considering I am the judge. If you have any problems, I'd be happy to talk about it.
