Good morning, afternoon, or evening, however it finds you, my little Group G lab rats!

Mark Legorski

Duke Flanagan

LegoLord

Your category was devised by Chris "my daughter already builds better than I do" Phipson.

That category is... drum roll, please...
"The Thing That Should Not Be."

Put a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, May 23rd, or be disqualified.

Once that deadline passes, post your scores for all the other MOCs in your group in this thread by 11:59 pm, May 26th, or be disqualified.

This is also where you may discuss the category with your fellow group members, talk smack, make deals, threats, bribes, whatever.

Enjoy...

I'm sorry, we don't say that in America-Justinme Beaver on the word 'German'.

Any idea on the topic? i'm a little confused. Being Aussie and all.

Its just a build of something that shouldn't be, like that fiasco about kelso dating a sheep. ( But don't use that one, they already buried it ;) )

Gotta say, this is deinitely a toughy. Do I go with political/social commentary? blasphemous combinations? revisionist histories!? While I mull this over, I'll drop ya'll some clues.

I award points for originality and presentation over technique (but mad skillz don't hurt none either).

Avoiding long-winded backstories (especially about commander clonie) is a good thing.

DQ'ed for not building -
Duke Flanagan
Mario man3138

Everyone else get to judging!

(Only two DQ's. Not bad, considering.)

Legolord - Score: 3.1 Black Fantasy isn't really my thing but that fire patch netted you some extra as well as the rock raiders canopy.

Erin Ch. - Score: 3 I don't get it. Obviously there is something I don't understand here with Leda. However, I do like your microfigs and considering its all black the photography isn't bad.

Mark Legorski - Score: 5 If this category had an "answer," the a-bomb would have been it. The B/W presentation I thought was spot on. The best in the category.

Pony Lord7 - Score: 2 Got a grin or two with with the commentary. I know I said technique was not my most important judging criteria but there isn't a whole lot of a build here.

My reviews;
Mark Legorski: it is just A-wesome, a very true concept, and quite an original one too.5 Legolord.(Sorry for getting it wrong): the build was great, and also the idea, but it did'nt relate to the category.4.5. Alex F.: great build AND concept. 5. Ponylord7: the concept was great, but the build wasn't, on the bright side, at least you posted something, which means you'll probaly go to the next round.2.5.

Legolord123 isn't in our group. Probably why it didn't make sense. However, LegoLord . is. You may want to double check before the deadline. Thanks for the fiver, btw.

I've posted the individual reviews on the actuall entries as well.
-----
Alex Fojtik: Nice. I love everything about it, you get a five (5) sir.

erick ch. :This is orginal, I like the microfigs, and the story is pretty good. I'll give a three and a half (3.5) the photographs could be brighter.

Mark Legorski: Very nice. I love all of the greebs and details on the background, and on the bomb itself. I'll give you a four and half (4.5)simply because a bit a color can't hurt, perhaps some tan or white. I know you did it on purpose, but a little color would make the vig pop. Excellent job overall.

Pony Lord 7: I'll give you a three (3). I like that tree and the walk on water thing was pretty funny, but studded water has always been a negative for me, and I feel that the landscape could use some more detail. Still, a nice job overall.

Everyone here who built has now judged. I'm figuring your scores now, so do me a favor and don't change them before the deadline!
