Good morning, afternoon, or evening, however it finds you, my little Group F lab rats!

Brendan Dore

Your category was devised by me, Shannon "feel free to insert your own smacktacular nickname here" Young.
That category is... drum roll, please...
"Illegal Aliens."
Put a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, May 23rd, or be disqualified.
Once that deadline passes, post your scores for all the other MOCs in your group in this thread by 11:59 pm, May 26th, or be disqualified.
This is also where you may discuss the category with your fellow group members, talk smack, make deals, threats, bribes, whatever.
Enjoy... Permalink | May 14, 2010, 9:26 pm |

Whoa, the 'pages just took a big crash. Well, I guess I'll get to building.
Missed this, what happened (if anything)?!

I'm very sorry. I won't be able to participate, far too much soccer practice, at the moment (read: 8hrs of maths exams in the next week to revise for). Good luck to y'all, anyway. Permalink | May 21, 2010, 8:57 am |

Oh man dude, I was looking forward to competing against you. Maybe next time. Anyway, good luck with soccer and math, I just took the Calc AP exam. Permalink | May 21, 2010, 3:46 pm |

Everyone else get to judging!
(Arguably one of the easiest categories and only three people managed to build. Yikes.) Permalink | May 24, 2010, 12:58 am |

Ryan T. - Courthouse prison:
I liked you little prison, it had almost a cold, metallic feel to it, perfect for a prison, which is hard to pull off with lego. 3.2 points
Brendan Dore - chees it, its the fuzz:
I can't really say much for the build. A broken gray wall slapped onto a couple white plates with a few space police officers and aliens doesn't really scream ingenuity.

Brendan Dole: (1 point) I must say, the pictures were bad, and I couldn't even tell if the grey structure behind it was supposed to be a building, so all I can really count is the minifigs, and the story, which really wasn't too good. Sorry.
Thomas N.: (2.5 points) A decent vignette, but really not amazing. Originally a build that would score a two by me, the fact that it was the only non-alien entry gives him an extra half point.
Good luck to all! Permalink | May 25, 2010, 5:51 pm |

Hey Shannon, can we do this category again?
I think you'd agree I went pretty easy on you guys category-wise, as compared to my fellow admins. You won't get so lucky next round!
Since everyone here that built has judged, I'm going to go ahead and start adding up scores. There's still time before the deadline to change your scores if you want to, but do me a favor, will you? Don't!
Edit: Since you guys only received two scores apiece, throwing out a high and low makes no sense. You'll just get the average of those two. Just in case you were wondering.
