I've been kicking around the idea of a group project for some time. This topic thread is meant to measure interest, so please comment if this appeals to you.

Two songs seem well suited to a collaborative project, but more can be suggested in this thread. I'd like to do the "Horoscopes" song as a series of vignettes. I'd also like to do "Albequerque," subdivided into sections. Let me know if you're interested - if we can get 4-6 people, I think we've got what we need.

Sounds fun, but unfortunately I don't own either song. I'll try to look them up on Youtube later today when I have some free time.

Since there were no objections, I'm going to get this started with the first two verses of "Horoscopes." That MOC will (hopefully) generate some more interest in continuing the project. You are all welcome to join in. I will probably add a sign-up thread in this group, so we don't double each other, but if you want an early start, just let me know.

You know, most people are participating in the Moc Athalon, so maybe we should wait to begin until March 15 (the day after the end of the Moc Athalon)?

Good point. I didn't know when the MocAthalon ended. With the amount of time I have to work on these things, I was assuming it would be a week or two until I posted. I'll just plan on waiting until after that event has passed.

I've put this collaborative project on the back-burner for now. My current focus is my latest Transformer. Possibly this summer I'll be turning my attention back to Weird Al.
