Judging Issue
 Group admin
Quoting Keith Goldman
I docked you a point just to make up for the other judges inflated scores.

Ok, so it's not enough to question our judgings and criticizing the categories we (Dave, Lee and I) worked hard on, now you decided it's your right not only to question, but to CORRECT our judgements.
This is out of line, even more so since it casts a doubt on all your previous votes: how can we be sure you judged those entries fairly?

It was a joke Yuri. A joke. If you really have doubts about my former judgments or future ones, or really doubt that I have respect from your abilities, then I'll be happy to step down as judge.

No, I don't think you smoke crack.

Yes, I still think Phipson's MOC deserves a 1, there is no build.

I'm not going to retract anything about the categories, they were rushed.

No need to step down. I trust your word on the joke matter.
Still, I think you rushed through the MOC and didn't notice a pretty decisive detail (anyhow that's your prerogative).
As for the categories, the three of us worked on them for 2 days together plus one on our own before that, and any problems with those should have been discussed inside the "Judging Table" group (as we tried to do), not by mocking our efforts publicly (a thing that caused this sterile attrition).

As long as we are correct and respectful with each other's opinions and contributions to the game, there's no real problem here.

Peace :)

Don't you guys have your own forum to keep these kinds of disagreements out of public view? Kinda blemishes the spirit of the competition gentleman.

What is a contest without drama?
Have the MOColympics taught nothing to you?
I'd love to have some little drama in my own contests, it adds spice to it (as long as you don't allow it to get out of hand).
Cheers :)

We do, and you're right, we should have kept it to our forum.

However...I strongly disgree that it blemishes anything but our respective reputations and even that is debatable. On the positive side, it lets you know that we are not lock-step in our judgements, or our philosphy which deters conspiracy or collusion. It also lets you know that we struggle, just like I see some teams struggling.

When I air something publicly, it is usually with the intent to prove to those watching that a conern is being addressed.

Roger that. Was thinking more of the youngins than myself. Personally I already can't imagine stuffing you four in a judging box. LMAO

Well said.
