Everyone is running scared about the so-called Dream Team with Kelso, Phipson, JD, Dylan and a castaway to be named later.
I'm not, and no one on our team is either. For all anyone knows, those guys can't build under pressure (I mean, c'mon, Apocalypsis -- is it done yet? Sheesh.)
Quit tremblin' at the thought of what they might do and get your build on and show them (and us) what YOU can do.
There. I said it. Not scared.

It's really more the fact that I don't have a single team member yet, though I've thrown my name out in some way about 10 times by now. Permalink | February 5, 2010, 8:48 am |

Allow me to repeat my earlier comment in the other thread.
Dream Team is an appropriate name, because, believe me, those guys ARE dreamin'!!! :D
My bunch is movin' in an' takin' over, see. We ain't 'fraid a no one, see? You mugs might as well pack it up an' go home, see? (That was my Edward G. Robinson impression. See.) Permalink | February 5, 2010, 9:08 am |

Quite frankly, our so-called dream team is at a disadvantage if you ask me. Not only are we expected to come up with brilliant work (and will, therefore, probably be judged upon a higher standard), but many of us are preoccupied with other MOCs. I for one, am desperately trying to finish a massive SHIP before mid-June, and have also agreed to another two group builds for Brickworld, while looking at a work schedule that is the heaviest I've seen in a decade. (I agreed to this contest to shut Phipson up...can you tell?) The point is...
We're the ones who are under the gun.

And here come the excuses...Hahaha! I feel for you, buddy, I just can't quite reach! I have an Atlantis project that is using up about 80% of my black right now and I'll never get it done and photographed before the start of the contest. See, excuses are like but-holes, everyone has one and they all stink. But hey, thanks to you guys, Lee has upped the prize for whomever can open a case of whup-A.S.S. on you boys, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.~h Permalink | February 5, 2010, 10:20 am |

Finally somebody gets to the heart of the matter. Why would you fear Kelso?, in a month he'll produce one MOC with a perfect score, and then he's done. Most teenagers can build better than Phipporino, so no fear there, Dylan B will talk more than he builds,....if anything I'd be more worried about JD and Ian.
No, Master Shifu was right, the scarriest thing to the competitors should be the judges, especially this judge.
If your kung-fu is weak...you'll get no points.
How true... I must go back and re-learn the arts of moc-fu! Thank you, Master Goldman... Permalink | February 5, 2010, 12:57 pm |

The judges are only meant to point out the truth.....why fear that? The only thing I'm afraid of with this competition is parts shortage....it's most likely inevitable :P
